Not my thing to be honest
1. Hobbies and interests outside running ? Mountain walks, concerts and the odd round of golf
3. Music Interests ? Hard to beat a bit of U2
4. When did you start running and when did you join the SGR ?
Started jogging (very slowly) in 2011, took a wee while to get hooked, joined SGR shortly after it was set up in 2014
5. What has been your favourite race and why ? Dune has to be my favourite, managed to do everyone one so far, great start to the running calendar, it’s always superbly well organised with a great medal too!!!
6. Favourite place to run ? Ravensdale forest trail, great wee hidden gem on our door steps
7. What do you like most about being a member of the SGR ? I’ve met some truly great friends from the club, you can almost go to any race and sure enough you’ll meet someone in the SGR top
8. If you could choose anywhere in the world to run, where would it be ? I’d love to complete the world majors but really fancy giving Montreal Marathon a go
9. What is your favourite race medal ? A few years back myself and Siofra entered the Quadrathon in Donegal as a team - a fantastic four part medal and an absolutely great weekend of running in the beautiful Inishowen
10. What has been your best running achievement ? Sub 4hr in London
11. Favourite distance you like to run ? Half Marathon
12. Aims for the future ? Although I prefer the half marathon distance, I’d love to complete a few more of the iconic marathons, hopefully complete the majors but 2019 I’d love to give the Quads another go!
