1. Hobbies and interests outside running ? Really like gardening, also like art and slowly getting back into it again. i'M a Southampton F.C supporter since 7 years old and blame that on my grey hair .
3. Music Interests ? Have always loved my Irish rock with bands like U2, The Stunning, Something Happens, Cry Before Dawn, The Walls. Bell x1 , The Coronas,Walking on Cars and The Frames .
4. When did you start running and when did you join the SGR ?
Started running in my teens and ran the roads for years before finally getting back into it again after playing GAA and football. Been an SGR since 2017
5. What has been your favourite race and why ? Running in the Newry Half Marathon when it came to Warrenpoint and the 10K on the Bay in Warrenpoint that sadly is over now.
6. Favourite place to run ? Love running the country roads around Warrenpoint,Burren and Rostrevor. Clonallon Rd Warrenpoint to Carrick Rd in Burren is my fav route.
7. What do you like most about being a member of the SGR ? The people you meet and support given, one big running family.
8. If you could choose anywhere in the world to run, where would it be ? It's my runners dream to run the Steve Prefontaine trail in Eugene, Oregon as a massive fan of his.
9. What is your favourite race medal ? My first Belfast Marathon in 2013 and was to celebrate my 40th birthday. Shared a great Day with Attracta and kids loved it...
10. What has been your best running achievement ? Running 7 marathons in 7 days on a Treadmill for charity, was to do 12 but leg went and a good team of people finished the rest ,for some strange reason love treadmills.
11. Favourite distance you like to run ? 5K Road and XC.
12. Aims for the future ? To start my own race in Warrenpoint someday for charity, to get back to middle distance running , as like it more and give it my all before the legs give out.
