Nobody understands the seriousness of Duchenne but this disease will kill my baby if we don't find a cure!! At present DUCHENNE is slowly killing him even though to many he looks like a healthy little boy that is not the case this cruel disease is 100% fatal an no one has survied it i need that to change for my baby, take a moment imagine your child was terminally ill wouldn't you do all you could to change it. Our dream is to get to America for a gene therapy trial at this point and time we don't know exactly how much it will cost just that it will be thousands upon thousands and in the meantime we are fundraising to make this possible..
We also need to maintain the quality of Alfie's life in the meantime, if he becomes 100% dependant on his wheelchair NOTHING can be done and we WILL LOSE him..
